Platform-specific handover instructions
The procedure for performing a transaction with the escrow service:
On X (Twitter), what changes hands is the account login itself.
The buyer pays the full amount — the price plus the service fee — into escrow, and we confirm the money has cleared before anyone is asked to hand anything over.
The seller removes two-factor authentication, changes the account email to the buyer’s, and posts the credentials in the deal thread.
The buyer confirms the email change from their own inbox and sets a new password, which signs every other device out.
The buyer re-enables two-factor on their own device and revokes every connected app and remaining session under the account’s security settings.
The buyer confirms in the deal thread that they have full and permanent access. That confirmation is what releases the money to the seller; until it happens, we are still holding it.
