Platform-specific handover instructions
The procedure for performing a transaction with the escrow service:
On Facebook, what changes hands is the Page, through Meta Business Suite.
The buyer pays the full amount — the price plus the service fee — into escrow, and we confirm the money has cleared before anyone is asked to hand anything over.
The seller invites the buyer to the Page in Meta Business Suite with Facebook access and full control. A Page changes hands through roles; it is not a login that gets handed over.
The buyer accepts the invitation from their own Facebook profile and confirms they have full control — not partial access, which looks identical until the day it matters.
The seller removes themselves and every other person and business asset with access to the Page. Meta applies a waiting period to some role changes, which the 7-day window is sized for.
The buyer confirms in the deal thread that they have full and permanent access. That confirmation is what releases the money to the seller; until it happens, we are still holding it.
